FilmSoul is a production house dedicated to create, incubate and produce stories. FilmSoul offers a range of services in the film, television, and media arena. Our team is actively engaged in a variety of projects and we welcome inquiries related to the development of new television programs, video and computer game software, video production services, and online content for music, video and film (and scripts).

FilmSoul is founded by Fernando Grostein Andrade, a LA-based Brazilian filmmaker and digital media entrepreneur, represented by Untitled Entertainment. In 2019, he debuted his film "Abe", starring Noah Schnapp (Stranger Things), Seu Jorge (City of God) and Mark Margolis (Breaking Bad). "Abe" was accepted into 27 film festivals, and first premiered at Sundance. The film was honored with the Children Jury Award at the 31st Kinder Film Festival in Vienna and the Audience Award for Best Narrative at the Washington Jewish Film Festival. Fernando also created and directed Quebrando o Tabu (Breaking the Taboo), a documentary that discusses alternative solutions to the war on drugs featuring 6 heads of state, including Jimmy Carter and Fernando Henrique Cardoso. Quebrando o Tabu spun off into an online media channel with 10 million followers becoming the largest human rights internet outlet in Brazil. The film became a two season TV series that received the Mipcom Diversify TV Excellence Award in Cannes. Fernando co-founded "Mapa Educação", a youth movement that advocates for quality in public education in Brazil and directed the documentary "Wandering Heart", featuring Caetano Veloso and special appearances of Pedro Almodóvar, Michelangelo Antonioni and Giselle Bündchen. Abe is narrative feature film that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2019. It later showcased in more then 30 film festivals across the globe and was released in over 20 territories.

Quebrando o Tabu is a cross-platform human rights project created by Fernando Grostein Andrade. It started with a feature film, then become a social media page with 15+ million followers and finally spin off into a 2 season documentary series. The series was awarded a Mipcom Diversify TV Excellence 2019 in Cannes.
